Acqua, Guest Chef @ Westport Farmers’ Market June 2nd

If last week’s steamy temperatures weren’t enough to remind you of the Mediterranean in summer, visit the Westport Farmer’s Market this Thursday, where featured restaurant, Acqua, will transport you abroad with distinctive food of the region. The market welcomes Acqua, who will use locally grown or raised ingredients to fashion samples of its fare. Whether they are serving parmesan-encrusted fish, prosciutto arugula pizza, or green pea crostini, Executive Chef, Jose Draganac, and Chef de Cuisine, Albert DeAngelis, are committed to using fresh, seasonal ingredients from local farmers and vendors – just as if you were dining in Greece, Spain, Italy, or Morocco. Come early to get a seat for this week’s delectable; the chef demonstration begins at 10:15.
