Chef Joel Viehland of Community Table has announced an exclusive 7-course dining experience on September 14 to be held in the Historic Covered Bridge in West Cornwall, Connecticut. The tasting menu will be paired with Krug Champagne and Clos Dubreuil wines. Tickets are $225 per person, and are available online. Proceeds from this evening will benefit the Cornwall Fire Department.
The evening of "culinary adventure" will pay homage to the farmers, artisans and the natural bounty of the northeast within the intimate setting of the historic West Cornwall Covered Bridge, originally built in 1864. The seven-course menu will include locally sourced and foraged vegetables, meat, and seafood. The menu will be paired with Krug Champagne, one of the world's most revered champagne houses, and Clos Dubreuil, a Grand Cru Bordeaux from Saint-Émilion. The cocktail hour will kick-off the evening at 4 p.m. with dinner being served at 5 p.m.
